Egor G. Kraft
克夫斗 映治
Egor Geo. Kraft (映治 克夫斗) is an artist and thinker:er living a mobile life, with studios in Tokyo and Vienna, as well as deep ties to London and Berlin.
Kraft’s work acknowledges the disrupted modern condition as a consequence of radical, planetary-scale sociotechnical reconfigurations. His research-informed practice often examines the idea that these ongoing processes are intense, recursive, infomaterialist dynamics that converge history and future. They urge us to reassess our roles and agency in relation to autonomy, interdependence and models of value, and to articulate latent notions that demand new vocabulary and sociocultural imaginaries.
